App Store keyword field checker
Apple indexes your app name, subtitle and keyword field — and counts each word once. Paste yours in to see what's actually indexed and how many characters you're wasting.

How this works
Apple builds one searchable index from your name + subtitle + keyword field, and each word counts once across all three. So a word that appears in your name and again in your keyword field isn't indexed twice — it's just spending characters you already paid for. This tool finds those, plus the other classic character-burners.
It checks for:
- Words repeated between name, subtitle and keyword field.
- Duplicates inside the keyword field itself.
- Spaces after commas — each one costs a character and buys nothing.
- Multi-word phrases — Apple combines your words into queries itself, so phrases usually duplicate words you already have.
- Filler like "app", and singular/plural pairs of the same stem.
- Over-limit fields that App Store Connect will reject.
Apple publishes the field limits but not the ranking algorithm. This tool applies the widely-established behaviours — single counting, no phrase needed, stemming — not inside knowledge of Apple's index. Treat it as a way to stop obvious waste, not as a ranking oracle.
